How Booking Works

It’s easy to get a room booked! Take the stress of planning off your shoulders at Grainworks (the beer helps.)

  • Submit the form to email our Event Manager, Kate.
  • Confirm details and pricing via email.
  • Sign the contract (example)/pay the rental fee, and you’ll be put on the calendar!
  • If you need catering, Kate will connect you with the kitchen via email.
  • DONE! Just relax and don’t worry about it any more.
Please submit a form prior to calling — they do email straight to Kate.
And she may possibly, just maybe, have a less than perfect memory, and would really appreciate it!

Frequently Asked Questions

Outside Catering (meals, snacks, etc.) can be brought in with an Outside Catering fee, which varies.
Desserts like cake, cupcakes, and cookies do NOT count and can be brought in for any party!

If you’d like to keep an open bar for your guests, you open a tab at the beginning of the party and we’ll give you wristbands to pass out to your guests. Our bartenders will add their orders onto your tab which you will pay at the end of the night. You can also set a limit if you’d like where our bartenders will let you know as you near the predetermined amount so that you don’t overpay.

For drink tickets, you’d just let me know how many you want and we can give the tickets to you to pass out on the day of the event. Logistically, your guests would turn in a ticket with the bartenders when they order and then the bartenders would add the drink to your tab.

The costs for drinks are as follows:

  • N/A Drinks (soda, tea, etc.) – $2.00-$4.00
  • Beer – $6.00-9.00
  • Wine – $8.00-$10.00
  • Cocktails – $10.00-$12.00

The Bar Minimum Spend based on multiple factors combined, like time, date, day of the week, headcount, and party needs. That can be either paid on one tab or divided amongst your guests if they end up purchasing their own drinks. We have wristbands and drink tickets if you plan on purchasing your guests’ drinks, but it is not required that you purchase them.

We also require a 20% gratuity on the organizer’s tab, as our bartenders are the ones who set up, run, and break down parties. This is on whatever amount the organizer is paying (including the amount needed to meet the minimum spend)— whether that be just their own drinks, or an open bar/drink tickets. If their guests are purchasing their own drinks, those guests are responsible for their own tabs and tip as they see fit.

Yes! We are a family friendly brewery, and we also have many Non Alcoholic options available at the bar (all of which do count towards the minimum bar spend as well.)

Yes, according to the Event Guidelines. Namely, no tape on the drywall (though other materials are ok!), no fire/water features, and no animals. Please read the guidelines and/or ask the Event Manager if you’re uncertain.

Tuesday/Wednesday: 4pm-10pm
Thursday: 3pm-11pm
Friday: 12-4pm, 5pm-11pm *
Saturday: 11am-4pm, 5pm-11pm *
Sunday: 12-8pm

*If there are no other parties that day, we can be flexible — please talk with the Event Manager if you need a longer time period or alternate timeframe on Friday or Saturday.

In the event rooms, around 160-170 depending on the day and other events.
We also do full taproom bookings which can go up to 300+, so if you have a larger event, just let us know in the request form and the Event Manager will help you understand the options.
